Residential Sound Insulation Program Group 10 (Construction)

The Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is seeking experienced contractors to provide services for the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Residential Sound Insulation (RSI) Program. The program aims to sound retrofit eligible residential dwellings with typical modifications, including replacement of existing windows and doors with acoustically-rated assemblies, insulation of attic spaces, finish and rough carpentry, exterior and interior plastering and painting, roof equipment platforms, installation of new ventilation units, and electrical service upgrades. • The program will involve sound retrofitting of residential dwellings. • The contractor will be responsible for providing services, including replacement of windows and doors, insulation, carpentry, plastering, and painting. • The contractor will also be responsible for installing new ventilation units and electrical service upgrades. • The program is part of the LAX RSI Program, which aims to reduce noise pollution in the surrounding area.
