Student Athletic and Catastrophic Insurance

The Lubbock Independent School District is seeking insurance proposals for student athletic and catastrophic insurance. The district is requesting proposals for all UIL activities, athletics, JROTC, vocational education, Future Farmers of America, cheerleaders, drill teams, extra-curricular, and voluntary student accident insurance. The initial contract will begin August 1, 2026, and end July 31, 2027, with the option to renew for four additional one-year terms. • The policy must provide coverage for 24-hour, at-school, voluntary football, dental, catastrophic, and blanket coverage for all interscholastic activities. • The policy must have an A.M. Best rating of at least A-(VII). • The district reserves the right to re-negotiate or cancel the contract prior to any renewal terms. • Proposals should duplicate the district's specifications as near as possible. • The contract will be awarded to the respondent whose submittal is most advantageous to the district, considering the relative importance of price and other evaluation criteria.
