Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide and install two new Tactical Rack Shelving sections into the existing Tactical Rack System (IARS) at Fairchild AFB, WA. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, tools, parts, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete the installation. The delivery and installation date is 60 Days ARO. The contractor will also be responsible for disposing of the two existing sections.
Some key requirements include:
* The pallet shelves must be flexible to change height without having to unbolt or remove clips.
* The pallet shelves must have forklift tine slots allowing for easy adjustments to change height of pallet location shelves.
* The weight capacity per shelf is 2,500 LBS.
* The contractor must provide all labor, tools, parts, transportation, and supervision necessary to install the new shelving sections.
* The contractor must detach and reattach fire suppression support cables to the new racking system.
* The contractor is responsible for complete removal and off-base disposal of the two existing sections.
