J--Notice of Intent to Sole Source for service maintenance agreement for North Sta

The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to North Star Imaging for the renewal of the silver annual maintenance service agreement for the NSI M5000 Industrial CT Scanner. The agreement is essential to maintaining research continuity and operability of the scanner safely. Any upgrades, updates, maintenance, and calibrations must be performed by NSI to continue the warranty. • The base year of performance is from 08/01/2026 to 07/31/2027, with three additional option years. • The agreement is considered a sole source to North Star Imaging because, to the best of NETL's knowledge, North Star Imaging is the only known source that can provide this service. • Interested parties that believe they are capable of meeting the NETL requirement may identify themselves and provide evidence of their capability by 1300 PM ET on 07/20/2026.
