Description

The National Institutes of Health intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order to Jackson Laboratory for an in vivo pharmacokinetic study of antibody conjugates. The study aims to characterize the pharmacokinetics of optimized antibody-lectin conjugates in a model that more closely reflects human physiology. The protocols used will administer the optimized conjugates intravenously in FcRn mice and measure remaining sera concentrations of the conjugates by ELISA. • The study will be conducted using transgenic FcRn mice expressing human Fc neonatal receptor. • The protocols will involve administering the optimized conjugates intravenously and measuring remaining sera concentrations by ELISA. • The goal is to inform predictions of serum half-life and support further development of antiviral antibody-protein conjugates.

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

The budget amount for this opportunity is not explicitly stated in the document. However, considering the complexity and the specialized nature of the study, it is likely that the budget will be substantial. Based on the fact that it is a firm-fixed-price purchase order and the study involves conducting pharmacokinetic studies in transgenic FcRn mice, the budget could be in the range of $200,000 to $500,000. This estimate is rough and may vary depending on the actual scope of work, the expertise required, and the resources needed to complete the study.
