Description
The VA is conducting market research (Sources Sought) for a temporary 1,000‑HP fire‑tube boiler rental, installation, and full maintenance services at the Montrose VA Medical Center. The contractor must deliver the boiler by early November 2026, have it operational within 14 days, and provide all associated gas, oil, steam, water, and electrical connections, permitting, and monitoring equipment for a minimum five‑month rental period (Nov 2026 – Mar 2027). Additional months may be requested. The vendor must also supply monthly preventive maintenance, inspection reports, and training for VA personnel, and comply with VA, NEC, and safety standards. The solicitation is a Sources Sought aimed at gathering capability statements from small businesses, especially SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), and women‑owned firms.
• Provide a 1,000 HP boiler (natural gas/#2 oil capable) with 35,000 lb/hr steam capacity.
