The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) is soliciting bids to furnish and install a comprehensive audiovisual (AV) system for the third‑floor renovation of Eugenio Maria De Hostos Community College in the Bronx, NY. The work includes supply, programming, installation, testing, training, and close‑out documentation of integrated AV equipment such as SMART interactive displays, ceiling‑bundle microphones, conference cameras, mounting hardware, networking infrastructure, and associated control systems across multiple classrooms, a conference room, and way‑finding displays. The contractor must provide detailed shop drawings, programming plans, warranty coverage, and meet rigorous safety, labor‑law, prevailing‑wage, and insurance requirements.
• Supply and install AV hardware (SMART Boards, displays, microphones, cameras, PCs, speakers, mounts, racks, cabling, network components) in designated rooms.
• Deliver complete shop‑drawings, programming plans, testing reports, training sessions, as‑built documentation, and warranty/maintenance agreements.
• Comply with DASNY’s contractual clauses: prevailing‑wage schedule, Project Labor Agreement (optional), insurance/bond certifications, NYS labor‑law, COVID‑19 guidance, and mandatory daily reporting and site‑logistics procedures.
• Complete all work by the contractual “substantial completion” deadline of December 31, 2026, with final acceptance and warranty start tied to the Certificate of Occupancy.
