RFQ: Professional Parks, Recreation, and Outdoor Facility Design Services

Dade County is soliciting qualifications from firms to provide professional parks, recreation, and outdoor facility design services. The services may include concept report preparation, park planning, trail and recreation facility design, landscaping, site development, and related services. The county is looking for firms with experience in providing parks, recreation, or outdoor design services to local governments in the State of Georgia. The selected firm will be required to provide a scope of work, methodology, and approach for design services, as well as a rate schedule for services. The evaluation criteria include parks and recreation experience, federal/state funded project experience, design approach and methodology, scope and level of services, capacity and project management, and approach to cost management and budget awareness. Some of the key services that the selected firm will be required to provide include: • Parks and Recreation Facilities • Trailheads and Access Facilities • Trails (Pedestrian or Multi-use) • Recreational Site Development and Passive Recreation Areas • Park Improvements and Rehabilitation (including resurfacing, lighting, and facility upgrades)
