Description
The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting proposals from qualified businesses for construction engineering and inspection services for the Dr. MLK Jr. Memorial Road Multipurpose Path project. The project involves the construction of a 1.115-mile-long paved path running parallel to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Road. The selected firm will provide construction management services, inspection of construction projects, and supervision/management services as requested by the County. Key points: * The proposal due date is April 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST. * The project schedule will run parallel to the construction of the multipurpose path, with the schedule to be determined once the contractor has been selected and issued a Notice to Proceed. * The deliverables for the project include pre-construction meeting minutes, project schedule, weekly reports, review and certification of pay applications, and a certification of completion. * The minimum qualifications for consultant personnel include a Civil Engineering degree, registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, and relevant experience in construction engineering and inspection. * The County reserves the right to reject any proposal found to be non-responsive, vague, or non-conforming, and to withdraw all or part of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to protect its best interests.
