Rural Health Tech Assistance for Providers on HIT

The State of Minnesota, through the Minnesota Department of Health, is seeking a contractor to provide technical assistance to rural health care providers who are subgrantees or potential subgrantees of the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). The contractor will assist these providers in evaluating their existing health information technology (HIT) systems, identifying gaps, and developing plans to implement new HIT systems and equipment. The contractor will also provide guidance on how to leverage HIT to achieve the RHTP goals, including improving patient care, operational processes, and financial stability. • The contractor will work with subgrantees to assess their existing HIT systems and equipment. • The contractor will identify gaps in the subgrantees' existing HIT systems and equipment and develop plans to address these gaps. • The contractor will provide guidance on how to implement new HIT systems and equipment. • The contractor will assist subgrantees in planning for and executing participation in RHTP-funded opportunities. • The contractor will work with subgrantees to build awareness of available and emerging technology funded through RHTP.
