Boundless Journey Adventure Park Phase 2

The City of Farmington is seeking a general contractor to construct Phase 2 of the Boundless Journey Adventure Park, a multi-phase, all-abilities park. The project includes demolition, grading, concrete pavement, concrete retaining walls, play equipment, play area surfacing, irrigation, planting, landscape mulches, site furnishings, and site electrical and lighting. The park will incorporate physical, cognitive, social, sensory, and communicative elements to enhance the play of residents with different abilities. The project is funded by Regional Recreation Centers – Quality of Life, HUD, and CDBG Grants. • The project area is divided into 6 sections, with Sections 1-4 being the base bid and Sections 5 and 6 being additive alternates. • The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and other related items required to complete the project. • The project must be completed within 365 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with the possibility of a 60-day extension for each additive alternate. • The contractor must comply with all state, federal, and local laws and regulations, including those related to employment, labor, and environmental protection.
