Description
The State of Iowa is seeking bids for Refuse, Cardboard, and Glass Disposal Service for the Alcohol & Tax Operations Division. The contract will begin on 11/29/2025 and end on 11/28/2026, with the option to renew for up to five annual extensions. The bidder must provide and maintain necessary equipment, ensure compactors meet specified electrical requirements, and adhere to service scheduling and documentation requirements. The bidder must also provide disposal fees for 35-yard and 40-yard compactors and specify the name and location of the landfill(s) to be utilized.
• The contract requires the bidder to provide a detailed quarterly report in Microsoft Excel on all sales made under the resulting contract.
• The bidder must pay a 1.00% administrative fee on all sales made against the resulting contract.
• The State of Iowa prefers to pay bidders using its Purchasing Card Program (Pcard) whenever possible.
• The bidder must comply with the Terms of Pcard Acceptance.
• The bidder must provide dump tickets to the Institution for every service.
• The bidder must empty the compactor unit and return it to the designated location within 24 hours of receiving notification from the Agency.
