OLCC Concrete Consultant/Civil Engineer

The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission is seeking a consultant to evaluate concrete slab conditions and provide professional advice for recommendations regarding performance and service of the slab required by the design and intended function. The consultant will review current construction drawings, specifications, and additional documents, participate in conference calls, and perform site visits to inspect and sound the slab. The consultant will also provide reports, author letters, and respond to telephone calls and emails from the owner and owner's representative. The total bid price should include all costs for the services, and the vendor is to mark clearly alternate proposals. • The consultant will evaluate the as-placed slab conditions and construction contractor-proposed investigation and mitigation plans. • The consultant will provide comments addressing any forensic or petrographic reports provided by the construction contractor. • The consultant will collect a maximum of four drilled core samples from the slabs and submit them for petrographic examinations. • The consultant will provide the owner with the report. • The consultant will review current construction drawings, specifications, and additional documents. • The consultant will participate in conference calls with the owner and owner's representative. • The consultant will respond to telephone calls and emails from the owner and owner's representative. • The consultant will perform site visits to inspect and sound the slab. • The consultant will provide reports and author letters as directed by the owner.
