Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to Rad Source Technologies, Inc. (CAGE Code 1MVV8)

The Defense Health Agency intends to award a sole-source contract to Rad Source Technologies, Inc. for the procurement of preventative maintenance services of Rad Source Technologies equipment. The requirement is for the maintenance of the Rad Source 3400 Revolution Blood Irradiator, a highly specialized piece of equipment used for blood irradiation. Rad Source Technologies is the only responsible source capable of providing extended warranty and maintenance services for this equipment. • The contract is for preventative maintenance services of Rad Source Technologies equipment. • The Rad Source 3400 Revolution Blood Irradiator is a highly specialized piece of equipment used for blood irradiation. • Rad Source Technologies is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and possesses unique qualifications that make them the sole provider capable of fulfilling the contract requirements. • The contract is expected to be awarded on a noncompetitive basis.
