The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking proposals for the lease of the Rock Creek Tennis Center in Washington, D.C. The selected Offeror will have the opportunity to negotiate the terms of the final Lease with the NPS. The Lease term is negotiable, but the Offeror must propose a term that allows for a reasonable return on investment. The Offeror must also demonstrate financial capability, experience in managing a tennis center, and a commitment to environmental sustainability and historic preservation. The NPS is interested in selecting an Offeror that will substantially improve, operate, and maintain the Tennis Center in a manner that is on par with other tennis centers that host professional tennis tournaments.
• The Tennis Center is located in Rock Creek Park and includes tennis courts, a stadium, and recreational fields.
• The Lease will be for a term of up to 60 years.
• The Offeror must propose a rent amount as a percentage of gross revenues.
• The NPS will review all proposals and select the best responsive proposal based on the selection criteria, which includes use, financial capability, experience, sustainability, improvements, rent, and historic preservation.
