The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to design a temporary spur track and related facilities to support the BSVII Project’s muck off haul operations. The project involves the transport of material generated by the BSVII Project from the Newhall Yard site to the Alviso Salt Ponds in San Jose. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. • The project is expected to last for one year, with the possibility of follow-on work. • The proposer must comply with federal requirements, including those related to disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs). • The proposer must provide a Certificate of Reported Compliance with the Regulation for In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets. • The proposer must register with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) if the scope of work involves public work.
