County Website Redesign and Development — ADA WCAG 2.2 Compliance

Rio Blanco County is seeking a qualified vendor to redesign, develop, and implement a modern, accessible, and user-friendly public website that complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards. The selected vendor will create a responsive, secure, and easy-to-maintain website that reflects the County’s brand, enhances transparency, improves accessibility for all residents, and provides an intuitive experience for users on all devices. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting stakeholder interviews to assess needs and priorities • Providing multiple design mockups for County review and approval • Implementing responsive, mobile-first design compatible with all major browsers and devices • Ensuring all content and functionality meet WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines • Providing ongoing accessibility monitoring tools and staff training The proposal should include company overview, project team, project approach and timeline, accessibility plan, CMS platform details, references, and cost proposal.
