Description
The Iowa Finance Authority is seeking a consultant to conduct an analysis of closing and title fees related to real estate closings in Iowa and other states. The selected consultant will be responsible for collecting data, reviewing and analyzing the data, and preparing reports and datasets. The contract is expected to begin on September 30, 2025, and last for 12 months, with the possibility of two extensions. The consultant will be required to register to do business in Iowa and provide a W9 before payments can be made.
• The consultant will collect data on closing and title costs in real estate closings for the past five years in Iowa and other states.
• The consultant will review and analyze the data to prepare comparisons between transactions in Iowa involving Iowa Title Guaranty and those not involving Iowa Title Guaranty.
• The consultant will prepare reports and datasets of all information collected and analyses performed.
• The consultant will provide its cost proposal separately for the proposed services using the provided template.
• The consultant will certify it can comply with applicable information security policies.
