Description
The Marine Corps is seeking industry input on a Hardware‑as‑a‑Service (HaaS) model to provide, manage, and refresh commercial‑off‑the‑shelf (COTS) tactical camera systems, lenses, accessories, and related equipment for its Visual Information Acquisition System (VIAS). The vendor would lease equipment, handle lifecycle management, perform mandatory 36‑month hardware refreshes, and deliver fully kitted, military‑grade tactical kits. The RFI gathers information on vendor capabilities in leasing, TAA compliance, kitting, supply‑chain risk management, and cybersecurity.
• Provide COTS tactical camera bodies (e.g., Canon EOS R series or equivalents), lenses, media cards, power accessories, and related peripherals under a multiyear lease.
• Manage a 3‑year “Evergreen” refresh cycle, including sourcing next‑gen equipment, warranty/RMA handling, and end‑of‑lease disposition.
• Offer custom kitting, integration with government‑provided laptops, and delivery in military‑spec packaging (Pelican‑type cases).
