Additions / Improvements to the Mud Creek Water Pollution Control Plant

The City of Valdosta is seeking a qualified contractor to design, furnish, and construct comprehensive upgrades to the Mud Creek Water Pollution Control Plant. The scope includes conversion and addition of treatment basins, installation of a digester, solids‑handling upgrades, extensive piping, electrical and mechanical work (excluding major mechanical equipment that bidders must source), demolition, site grading, erosion control, and associated civil works. Specific allowances are provided for a SCADA system ($270 k) and erosion‑control items ($10 k each). An alternate option permits the replacement of the prestressed‑concrete digester with a cast‑in‑place poured‑concrete tank.
