Description
The Hawaii Community Development Authority is seeking a general contractor to modernize two hydraulic passenger elevators at the Kauhale Kakaako Parking Garage in Honolulu, Oahu. The project includes furnishing all supervision, labor, equipment, tools, supplies, and services to satisfactorily complete the work. The contractor must follow the approved permitted design and meet all requirements in accordance with the design and best industry standards. The contract term is for two years with an option to extend for an additional year.
• The contractor is responsible for maintaining best management practices for stormwater management and environmental pollution control.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and County laws and regulations.
• The contractor is required to exercise due care and diligence in entering upon and occupying the premises.
• The contractor must provide a list of all phone numbers of personnel assigned to the premises and respond to the HCDA within one hour of the initial call/request.
• The contractor is solely responsible for the continuity of the work in the event of staff illness, medical emergencies, vacancies, or other situations that result in program resources that are less than proposed and contracted for.
