TCG BOSS Equipment and Link-16 Related Products

The US Air Force is intending to award a sole-source contract to Curtiss-Wright DS, Inc. for the procurement of TCG BOSS equipment and Link-16 related products. The system provides a transportable Tactical Data Link simulation, testing, and validation environment that will interface directly with the squadron's existing Link-16 ground station capability. The scope of work includes providing a software solution that operates on a ruggedized, transportable computing platform, delivering Link-16 terminal initialization and management, network monitoring, and other related services. The equipment will be delivered to the 99th Reconnaissance Squadron at Beale AFB, CA. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing a software solution for a transportable Tactical Data Link simulation environment • Delivering Link-16 terminal initialization and management • Network monitoring and processing of Link-16 J-series messages • Tactical track visualization and Participant Location and Identification display • Message filtering and analysis, and tactical data recording and playback • Network troubleshooting, operator training support, and mission planning support • Integration with the planned SPIDR tactical display environment
