The VA is procuring 104 Helmer (or equivalent) under‑counter refrigerator/freezer pedestals, plus delivery and installation at ten VA medical facilities across Texas. The contractor must supply, unpack, install, calibrate, test, and certify each pedestal, ensuring compatibility with specific refrigerator/freezer models. Installation is to be performed during normal business hours, coordinated with VA representatives, and must follow a phased schedule to minimize disruption. The vendor is responsible for off‑site storage until installation, providing a program manager, and complying with VA safety and security policies.
