Description
The City of Valdosta is seeking bids for the purchase of one brand new 2026 or newer Roll-Off Container Truck equipped with a Hoist and Tarp System. The truck should meet the minimum specifications provided, including a Cummins 9-liter engine, Allison 4500 RDS-P transmission, and a Galfab OR 60174 S072 or comparable Roll-Off Hoist. The provider must be a factory-authorized dealer capable of supplying service, factory guarantee work, and parts from stock with a minimum of delay. The bid should include literature on the brand and model being bid, and any deviation from the requirements should be referenced by specification number on company letterhead in detail.
• The truck should have a rated capacity of 60,000 lbs and be compatible with 18' - 22' Roll-Off Containers.
• The hoist and tarp system should be a new, current, standard production model and carry a minimum one-year warranty by the manufacturer.
