MOC GENERATOR UPGRADE

The Town of Marana is seeking bids for the MOC Generator Upgrade project, which involves upgrading the existing backup generator and associated electrical devices to a larger unit at the Marana operations facility. The project includes the purchase and installation of a new generator, automatic transfer switch (ATS), and utility line relocations. The contractor will be required to perform all work within the public right-of-way, legally obtained easements, and property legally acquired by the Town of Marana. The project has a warranty period of 730 consecutive calendar days, and the contractor will be required to provide a performance bond and payment bond. • The project is located at the Marana operations facility, 5100 W Ina Road, 85743. • The contractor will be required to obtain all applicable permits before undertaking work. • The contractor will be required to provide a temporary backup generator during construction to provide emergency power. • The contractor will be required to follow proper lock-out, Tag-out procedure. • The contractor will be permitted to stage operations within the operations campus.
