TOT and VRBLT Administrative and Audit Services

The County of San Mateo is seeking a qualified firm to provide countywide administrative services for Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), Short-Term Rental (STR) programs, and Vehicle Rental Business License Tax (VRBLT). The selected firm will be responsible for billing, collection, compliance monitoring, and auditing services. The contract term is expected to be three years, with an option to extend for up to two additional years. The scope of work includes establishing and maintaining a database of lodging providers and vehicle rental companies, providing account activity and filing trends, and conducting audits. The firm should have experience in providing similar services and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the County's requirements.
