The Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Accountability and Whistleblower Protection (OAWP) seeks a vendor to provide virtual transcription services for approximately 1,400 investigative interview recordings each year. The contractor must convert audio/video files into accurate, professionally‑formatted PDF transcripts, include filler words, stutters, profanity, and meet a strict one‑business‑day turnaround with ≥ 97 % word accuracy. All work is performed remotely via a VA‑approved platform, with rigorous security, data‑handling, and background‑investigation requirements. No on‑site work, travel, or additional direct costs are anticipated, and the contract is firm‑fixed‑price with a one‑year base period and one optional year.
