Shade Sail Fabrication and Installation

The City of Pasadena is seeking quotes or proposals for the fabrication and installation of three replacement 4-point shade sails at La Pintoresca Park. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to manufacture and install the shade sails. The work shall be completed in accordance with industry standards and the specifications outlined in the solicitation. The contractor must possess a C-61/D03 - Awnings or Class B General Building license and provide experience with governmental agencies for two projects/contracts of similar scope and size. • The shade sails shall be fabricated using Commercial Ninety Five 340 FR fabric or a City-approved equal. • The shade sails shall be UV-resistant, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and fire-retardant. • The contractor shall provide all new hardware, including stainless steel cables, turnbuckles, shackles, and attachment fittings. • The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of the existing shade sails. • The contractor shall inspect the existing support posts and attachment points and notify the City of any deficiencies prior to installation.
