RSS 2602 LED Retrofit

The Raker Student Access Center lighting upgrade project aims to improve energy efficiency, reduce maintenance requirements, and modernize lighting controls throughout the building. The project consists of replacing existing 2x4 fluorescent lighting fixtures with new LED fixtures and installing occupancy-based lighting controls in designated spaces. The project also includes add alternates to furnish and install hallway motion sensors. The contractor will be responsible for providing materials and labor for the project. • The project requires a mandatory site walk and pre-bid meeting. • The contractor must be qualified as a bidder with the State Public Works Division of the Department of Administration for the cost category required for the project. • The contractor must comply with the Apprenticeship Utilization Act and submit the Apprenticeship Utilization Act Forms. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and obtain Performance and Payment bonds equivalent to the amount bid. • The contractor must comply with the Prevailing Wage Act and pay prevailing wages to all employees working on the project.
