Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified veterinary provider to deliver on‑demand professional animal health services to the Atlantic County Animal Shelter. The contractor will perform spay/neuter surgeries (including early‑age procedures), routine health examinations, medical care, training for humane euthanasia, rabies vaccination clinics, and disease‑control program support, all under a flat hourly rate contract. The work is mandated to comply with county recycling, solid‑waste, safety, and affirmative‑action regulations, and requires a valid license from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and at least three years full‑time veterinary experience.
• Provide comprehensive veterinary services (surgery, diagnostics, treatment, euthanasia training).
• Conduct public rabies vaccination clinics and assist county staff with animal‑health initiatives.
• Maintain all required professional licenses, insurance, and certifications; submit required documentation (business registration, insurance, addenda acknowledgments, etc.).
• Contract term runs January 1 2027 through December 31 2027, with a flat hourly rate covering all costs (no separate mileage or travel reimbursements).
