DEPARTURE ALERTING SYSTEM AND OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE DISPLAY FOR F-5 AIRCRAFT

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to award a sole source contract for the development, qualification, manufacture, and delivery of the Departure Alerting System (DAS) and Outside Air Temperature (OAT) displays for the F-5 aircraft. The contract is expected to be awarded to Tiger Century Aircraft (TCA) for a period of 24 months. • The DAS and OAT displays are required to support the Adversary and Specialized Aircraft Program Office (PMA-226) and the F-5 Integrated Product Team (IPT). • The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. • TCA is the only known source with the requisite knowledge, technical capability, and historic F-5 specific flight dynamics technical data necessary for the manufacture, qualification, and delivery of the DAS software and OAT displays.
