Request for Information (RFI): ROAD SALT (ROCK AND SOLAR)

The Department of General Services is seeking information from capable parties interested in a Statewide ROAD SALT (ROCK AND SOLAR) procurement. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to collect information and conduct market research. Respondents are encouraged to provide feedback, and the information received will assist the Department in collecting data for a future procurement. The contract is anticipated to be a Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract, with a term of multiple years and potential Renewal Options. The contract may be awarded by geographic region, and Small Businesses, Minority Businesses, and Veteran-Owned Businesses are strongly encouraged to respond. The scope of work includes providing ROAD SALT (ROCK AND SOLAR) to the State, completing deliveries to locations throughout the State, meeting reporting requirements, and meeting or surpassing MBE and VSBE goals. • The RFI is not a solicitation to procure, and responses will not be used to evaluate firms. • The Department may schedule information sessions to gather information. • Respondents must identify confidential or proprietary information and provide justification for non-disclosure. • The current contract details are available upon request or in eMMA. • The scope of work includes providing ROAD SALT (ROCK AND SOLAR), completing deliveries, meeting reporting requirements, and meeting MBE and VSBE goals.
