Description
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services for the design of a new will call ramp for the Alcohol Tax Operations Department (ATOD) in Ankeny, Iowa. The project includes the removal and replacement of the existing will call ramp, and the selected firm will be responsible for providing design services, attending meetings, and coordinating with the Construction Manager and other stakeholders. The project timeline is approximately 6 months, and the selected firm will be required to provide lump sum pricing for the base scope of work, as well as hourly rates for additional services. Key considerations for the project include:
• Experience with similar projects, particularly those involving the design of will call ramps or similar facilities
• Ability to work with the Construction Manager and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth project delivery
• Capability to provide high-quality design services, including CAD/PDF drawings and specifications
• Ability to meet the project timeline and budget requirements
• Experience with the State of Iowa's construction management software program
The selected firm will be expected to provide a detailed proposal outlining their approach, methodology, and qualifications for the project, as well as their experience and expertise in providing similar services.
