Description
The City of Somerville is seeking an on‑call contractor to provide light‑duty, non‑commercial fleet repair services for its municipal vehicles. The contractor must supply all labor, OEM‑quality parts, and related materials, operate within a 10‑mile radius of the city, and meet ASE certification and diagnostic equipment requirements. The contract runs for a one‑year base period with two optional renewal years, and the award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
• Scope includes engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, HVAC, and related systems repairs on a variety of makes/models (e.g., Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes Sprinter).
