2026-011-NP, TRANSFER PUMPING UPGRADES AT WTP, BOCA RATON, FL

The Work in general consists of upgrades to the transfer pumping system including: 1. Demolition, removal, and off-site disposal of existing components of the transfer pumping systems in Building 5 and Building 7, including the existing vertical turbine Transfer Pumps 1, 2, 3 and associated piping (in Building 5), as well as the discharge check valves and certain piping associated with Transfer Pumps 4, 5, and 6 (in Building 7), as indicated on the Drawings and specified herein. 2. Installation of four new vertical turbine transfer pumps (1 through 3, and 7) and associated piping (in Building 5) and installation of three new check valves and associated piping on Transfer Pumps 4, 5, and 6 (Building 7), as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. 3. Replacement of selected components of the overhead bridge crane in Building 4. Re-routing, re-location, and replacement of existing sampling and ammonia injection equipment to maintain uninterrupted plant operations during construction. 5. Structural, architectural, HVAC, and plumbing renovation and replacement of certain components of the Transfer Pump Station (Building 5) and the East Electrical Building (Building 6). 6. Performance of lead-based paint sampling and laboratory analysis of surfaces. 7. Performance of asbestos sampling and laboratory analysis of surfaces. 8. Electrical and Instrumentation and Controls work associated with the above upgrades. 9. Miscellaneous sitework including the construction of gravel as shown on the Drawings.
