Description
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is seeking professional design services for two facilities: 6535 Corporate Drive, Johnston, IA, and 6450 Corporate Drive, Johnston, IA. The projects involve removal and replacement of a parking lot, removal and replacement of existing retaining walls, and connection of an auditorium stoop to the nearest sidewalk. The selected firm will provide design services, including geotechnical investigation, survey work, and construction cost opinions. The firm will also participate in bi-weekly conference calls during the construction period and provide field observation reports.
• The firm must have sufficient, qualified staff to deliver the services needed.
• The firm must have the resources and capabilities to complete the required work in an efficient and timely manner.
• The firm must provide a lump sum pricing proposal, broken down by project number and including design development documents, construction documents, bidding or negotiation assistance, and construction phase services.
• The firm must have experience with similar projects and provide references.
• The firm must be registered with the Office of the Iowa Secretary of State, if applicable.
