Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Liquid Nitrogen and Related Services to three NIST campuses

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking a contractor to provide bulk liquid nitrogen (LN2) delivery and related services to its three campuses in Gaithersburg, Maryland; Charleston, South Carolina; and Boulder, Colorado. The contractor will be responsible for delivering LN2 to various tanks at each campus, as well as providing annual inspection services for government-owned tanks. The contractor will also be required to provide telemetry services for the tanks. The contract will be for a period of time, but the exact duration is not specified. The contractor will be required to provide a price schedule that includes line items for each requirement, location, building number, tank size, and annual volume per building/facility/tank(s) at each campus. • The contractor must provide certificates of analysis demonstrating that liquid nitrogen requirements are met at the distribution point for each campus. • The contractor must provide proof of delivery (POD) for each delivery, which will be included with all invoices. • The contractor must provide an email confirmation of POD to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). • The contractor must provide a price schedule that includes line items for tank rental and telemetry. • The contractor must provide insurance that meets the requirements of FAR Clause 52.228-5, Insurance – Work on a Government Installation.
