Spanaway Lake Fishing Pier Replacement Design

Pierce County is seeking a firm to complete pier design for the Spanaway Lake Park Fishing Pier. The selected firm will be responsible for completing construction design documents, construction drawings, specification preparation, cost estimating, bid assistance, and permitting. The firm should have experience and expertise in similar projects, including in-water and shoreline permitting requirements. The scope of work includes completing pier design, construction administration services, and other tasks as required to construct a new pier. • The initial contract period is anticipated to be for 24 months. • The County has the option of renewing for an additional three years after the initial contract is executed. • The estimated value of the resulting contract is $150,000.00. • The firm should have a minimum of 5 years' experience designing in water piers and in-water and shoreline permitting requirements. • The firm should provide a comprehensive organizational chart with key personnel and estimated participation of Minority, Women, and Veteran-owned businesses.
