Description
The U.S. Embassy in Lusaka, Zambia, is seeking a contractor to provide swimming pool maintenance services. The contract will be for a one-year period with four one-year options. The contractor will be responsible for performing all necessary maintenance services, including bi-weekly and weekly maintenance, pool deep cleaning, and other related tasks. The contractor must also provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor. The government will measure the contractor's work by the appearance of the swimming pool.
Some key requirements include:
• Removing debris and leaves from the pool, skimmer box, and pump basket
• Cleaning the tiled or marbled floors and walls of the pool
• Testing and maintaining pool chemistry to meet recommended standards
• Providing pool test kits or test strips to be used for testing the chemical balance in the water
• Maintaining a record book for capturing records for the amount of chemicals put in the pool per site
