Purchase and Development of Land Surrounding Farrington Field

The Fort Worth Independent School District is seeking proposals for the purchase and development of land surrounding Farrington Field. The selected respondent will be required to develop the land in accordance with their proposed development plan, which must include a minimum of $250 million in capital investments and be completed by December 31, 2031. The development plan must also include details on preserving trees and the legacy of the historic Billingsley building. The district is open to considering both fee simple purchases and ground leases. • The land is comprised of seven individual tracts, and respondents may propose to purchase or lease one or more tracts. • The district is contemplating participating in a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) to fund renovations to the Farrington Field stadium. • The selected respondent will be required to enter into a purchase and sale agreement or ground lease with the district. • The district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to negotiate with any or all respondents.
