The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide professional engineering design services for the Washington Area Complete Streets Project. The scope includes designing new curb‑gutter‑sidewalk installations, buffered bike lanes, ADA‑compliant curb ramps, traffic‑calming features, and storm‑drain improvements along Washington Street, Del Mar Avenue, Horner Avenue, and Walker Lane. The consultant will deliver phased design packages (35 %, 65 %, 95 %, 100 % PS&E), produce survey and right‑of‑way plats, coordinate with utilities and regulatory agencies, conduct public outreach, and support the County through bid assistance and construction‑phase engineering. The contract is a professional‑services agreement paid on an actual‑cost‑plus‑fixed‑fee basis, with a twelve‑month design duration.
