The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a sole‑source notice to award Varian Medical Systems, Inc. a contract for preventative maintenance, repair, and software upgrades of its Varian radiation therapy equipment at the Northport VA Medical Center. The contract will cover a one‑year base period (12/1/2026‑11/30/2027) with four optional one‑year extensions, providing full‑service support including field technicians, OEM parts, remote diagnostics, and software patches for multiple Varian systems (TrueBeam LINAC, RGSC, IDENTIFY, ARIA, Eclipse, Velocity GRID).
