Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide professional, safe, and effective Airfield Management Services (AMS) to the 14th Flying Training Wing (14 FTW), Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB), Mississippi, and Gunshy Auxiliary Airfield. The contractor will be responsible for conducting daily inspections of the airfield, including aircraft parking, airfield markings, general pavement and infrastructure, and the runway arresting system. The contractor will also provide all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, and services to perform all tasks and functions as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor must maintain, examine, and inspect CAFB and Gunshy Auxiliary Airfield to guarantee a safe operating environment for military and civilian customers. The contractor must conduct Airfield support activities in strict compliance with United States Air Force (USAF) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards mandating safety requirements for military operations.
