Johnson County Olathe Adult Detention Center (OADC) MEP Improvements Project

The Johnson County Olathe Adult Detention Center (OADC) is seeking bids for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) improvements. The project includes the conversion of existing fan wall systems, renewal of the kitchen make-up air ventilation system, and replacement of a cooling unit for the Sheriff's Electronics room. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary to fully complete the work in accordance with the contract documents. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit. • Bidders must submit a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas. • The bid includes two base bids and one alternate bid. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding requirements. • The project has a preference policy for local businesses, apprenticeship programs, and individuals with disabilities.
