USNS ALAN SHEPARD (T-AKE 3) Voyage Repair Availability (VRA)

The USNS ALAN SHEPARD (T-AKE 3) Voyage Repair Availability (VRA) is a competitive solicitation for ship repair services. The VRA is tentatively scheduled from 31 May 2026 until 21 June 2026 and will be performed in either Thailand or the Philippines. The solicitation requires the offeror to have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and to be authorized to do business in the country of performance. The work includes various repairs and maintenance tasks, such as hull and structural repairs, propulsion machinery repairs, electrical repairs, and communication and navigation system repairs. • The VRA will be performed in either Thailand or the Philippines. • The offeror must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). • The offeror must be authorized to do business in the country of performance. • The work includes various repairs and maintenance tasks. • The solicitation is contemplated to have a positive qualification requirement for an Offeror to possess a current and active USN MSRA or ABR issued by NAVSUP FLCY.
