2025 Storm Pipe Rehabilitation Program

The City of West Des Moines is seeking bids for the 2025 Storm Pipe Rehabilitation Program, which involves the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements generally described as follows: Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining of approximately 626 linear feet of twenty-one-inch (21”) and twenty-four-inch (24") diameter storm sewer; traffic control, railroad liability insurance, railroad training, track protection, and other miscellaneous associated work. The kinds of materials, estimated quantities, and work to be done for the project on which bids will be received are as shown on the bid proposal for said project. • The project requires the bidder to have experience with CIPP lining and storm sewer construction. • The bidder must provide a bid bond and performance bond. • The project has a completion deadline of September 26, 2026, and liquidated damages will be assessed for each day that the work remains uncompleted after the end of the contract period. • The City of West Des Moines reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all technicalities and/or all irregularities.
