Refurbishment of Ajax Electric Hultgren Type D Salt-Bath Furnace

The DLA-Aviation is seeking information from industry partners to refurbish an Ajax Electric Hultgren Type D Salt-Bath Furnace. The refurbishment shall include updating control and recording systems with Honeywell components, specifically the HC900 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and MiniTrend digital chart recorder. The project requires a turnkey solution, including installation, technical data, training, and removal of the existing quench tank. The furnace must meet specific temperature uniformity and accuracy requirements.
