Description
The project involves the replacement of an existing culvert on Stannard Mountain Road in Stannard, Vermont. The work includes the removal of the existing culvert, installation of a new bridge, and associated road and erosion control work. A pre-bid site meeting is scheduled for February 11, 2026, at 10:00 am.
• The project requires the removal of the existing 12.8' wide by 8.3' high corrugated metal arch culvert.
• A new 34' L x 20' W prestressed precast concrete deck beam bridge will be installed.
• The project includes the installation of 68 LF of bridge guardrail and 100 LF of approach guardrail.
• Abutments will be installed on top of poured-in-place concrete leveling pads doweled to bedrock.
• The project will include placement of leveling pads, abutments, and wingwalls, and all associated road, bank, river, and erosion control work.
