Modernization and Space Enhancement Services in the Frances Perkins Building (FPB)

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is seeking proposals for modernization and space enhancement services at the Frances Perkins Building (FPB) in Washington, D.C. The selected contractor will provide a broad range of services, including interior upgrades, office reconfigurations, accessibility upgrades, structural modifications, and more. The contract will be an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) contract, and the DOL anticipates awarding multiple contracts. • The contract will have a base period with options. • The contractor must have experience with design-build modernization projects, stand-alone construction projects, and IDIQ contracts with task-order work similar in scope, dollar value, and complexity to this requirement. • The contractor must provide past performance information for three current or previous contracts of similar scope, dollar value, and complexity. • The contractor must provide pricing for various project categories, including interior office upgrades, mechanical improvements, and security improvements. • The contractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and the Service Contract Act.
