Description
The County is soliciting competitive sealed bids for a multi‑disciplinary pedestrian and roadway improvement project on South Rockbridge Road. Work includes earthwork, curb & gutter installation, concrete flat work, asphalt paving, storm‑drain pipe placement, sidewalk construction, striping, new traffic signals, and a fiber‑optic detection system for pedestrians and vehicles. The scope is fully quantitated, and bidders must supply a 5 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds, and meet insurance rating requirements.
• 0.765 mi of roadway upgrades with associated civil works (earthwork, drainage, concrete, asphalt).
• Installation of 10,527 LF of curb & gutter, 12,195 SY of concrete flat work, and 380 TN of asphalt.
